Vulvar
A vulvar problem can be caused by human papilloma virus or HPV.
Women most commonly complain of vulva itching, which is usually caused by chemicals from creams, douches, deodorants, spermicides, or infections. A reduced level of estrogen in the body during menopause also can cause discomfort. Treatments such as antibiotics and hormones are used for these cases.
