A vulvar wart is probably caused by HPV, and can be diagnosed with a pap smear.
One of the most common causes of women to seek medical help is the discovery of genital condyloma. This condition does not cause cancer but the same virus (HPV) that causes these growths has been linked to cancer of the female genitals.
