Vulva Itch
When a vulva itch is present it could be a symptom of vaginal dysplasia or lichen sclerosis caused by HPV.
Such symptoms as an itchy vulva, abnormal discharge, or pain may indicate that a human papilloma virus is present. This may be detected with a pap smear. Most women have some itchy symptoms from time to time. This does not mean that they have developed this condition.

Pruritus vulva is the term given to itching affecting the genital area of women. It is not a chronic burning symptom, however, the condition is sometimes compared with this disease. The condition is rather unpleasant and can result in a lot of distress. When a vulva itch is present it could be a symptom of vaginal dysplasia or lichen sclerosis caused by HPV.
