Patients usually complain of burning around the vaginal opening, pelvic and/or vaginal pain, painful intercourse, pain upon insertion of a tampon, and painful urination. This is an inflammation of the tissues that surround the opening of the vagina.
Vulvar vestibulitus doesn't require cone biopsy, like cervical dysplasia.

Vulvar Vestibulitus -
Cone Biopsy, Cervical Dysplasia
The condition may stem from allergic drug reactions, over treatment of chronic yeast infections, chemical reactions to soaps/detergents, or compression of pudendal nerve, which supplies the genital area. The cause of the condition is hard to determine. The tissues usually appear reddened. Vulvar vestibulitus doesn't require cone biopsy, like cervical dysplasia.
