Vulvar Pain
Vulvar pain often has undetermined significance, but it rarely leads to infertility and serious problems with the cervix.
It wasn’t even entered into the official physician’s diagnostic manual as a definitive disorder until 1987. It is often triggered by intimate relations but can also occur by something as simple as tight jeans, sitting on a hard chair or riding a bicycle.

Some cases involve the entire vulva; other cases only involve the surrounding entry to the vagina (the vestibule). Women with this condition may have had recurring yeast infections or laser surgery. Neurological injury is thought to be involved or a skin condition. The cause of this condition is not known.
