Vaginosis -
ASCUS, Vaginal Discharge
Treatment is not necessary with no symptoms, however there are exceptions to this rule. Some preventative measures that can be taken are the avoidance of douching or “feminine hygiene products”, maintaining the normal acid pH of the vagina, and the early use of medication if abnormal vaginal odor is noticed. Women with both vaginosis and ASCUS can have normal vaginal discharge and no other symptoms.
