As a rule, women complain of abnormal vaginal discharge with odor and unpleasant sensations in the genital area. It is caused by bacteria that are normally present in the organism and start to grow in numbers. This condition is normally present in women especially those with miltiple partners.

The condition is not serious, yet requires treatment as it may spread throughout the uterus and fallopian tubes. As for males, no cases have been reported.
