Blue vaginal discharge can be an indication of HPV and will show up as ASCUS on a pap smear.
The amount of the secretion may increase during ovulation, sexual arousal, or stress; nutrition and some medications may influence the color, consistency and amount of the mucus. During pregnancy, especially right before the labor, the amount increases greatly.
