Lichen'S Sclerosis
Lichen's sclerosis has many symptoms that mimic HPV or vulvar vestibulitis.
The symptoms of LS are thinning skin, white patches of skin, itching and/or burning, painful sexual intercourse, and sores or lesions resulting from scratching. LS is not caused by a virus, bacteria, or fungus -- but is instead something else entirely.

The most common misdiagnosis for LS is a yeast infection; other misdiagnoses include herpes or a bacteria infection. Lichen's sclerosis has many symptoms that mimic HPV or vulvar vestibulitis.
