Thick Vaginal Discharge -
Vaginitis, Cone Biopsy
It is normal to have a small amount of flow that appears to be clear mucus-like or milky white and not malodorous. This is a cleansing mechanism that protects the reproductive organs from bacteria not inherent to a healthy environment of the vagina. Thick vaginal discharge may indicate vaginitis or HPV, as in case a cone biopsy may be helpful in diagnosis.
